Meet Don Simons at the Visitor Center, bring binoculars.

1 Hour - Easy
10 AM Signal Hill Hike

Meet at the Signal Hill trailhead for a hike to the highpoint in search of butterflies and wildflowers.

1.5 Hours - Moderate to Strenuous - 1.5 miles
1 PM Bug Bonanza

Meet at the Visitors Center back patio to see several bugs up close and personal, as well as other activities.

30 minutes
2 PM Mt. Magazine Butterflies

Enjoy a colorful introduction to butterflies in the Visitor Center A/V room.

30 minutes
3 PM Garden Tour

Meet Lori Spencer in front of the Visitors Center for a closer look at plants in the VIC garden.

30 minutes - Easy
Sunday, June 19  
10 AM Benefield Nature Walk

Meet at the Benefield Picnic Area for a guided hike through different habitats in search of wildflowers and butterflies.

2 hours - Easy to Moderate - 1.5 miles
1 PM Bug Bonanza

Meet at the Visitors Center back patio to see weveral bugs up close and personal, as well as other activities.

30 minutes.
2 PM Dianas

Meet at the Visitor Center A/V room to learn about our famous butterfly.

3 PM Garden Tour

Meet Lori Spencer in front of the Visitors Center for a closer look at plants in the VIC garden.

A guided nature walk to the highest point in Arkansas.  Meet at the Highpoint Trailhead.

Meet at the Campground Bathhouse for nature games and crafts.
