Weekly Interpretive Activities
Guided hikes, audio/visual
programs, living history demonstrations and other interpretive
activities will be available most weekends. These activities
introduce and explore many of the natural and cultural resources, which
combine to make Mt. Magazine a unique place. Organized groups can
make arrangements for special presentations by contacting the park
interpreter.

School Activities
A variety of interpretive activities are available to school groups
visiting the park on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Contact
the park interpreter for a field trip packet, which includes a list of
available activities and other information. |

Mt. Magazine
Butterfly Festival
Activities for butterfly lovers of all ages. Guest
speakers and park interpreters lead walks and talks
exploring butterfly biology and gardening. Children
enjoy make-and-take crafts.

Highpoint
Rendezvous
9 AM
- 5 PM
Visit a mountain man encampment to
experience frontier life. Living historians will
demonstrate camping, cooking, clothing, firearms,
archery, and other activities during Arkansas's
highest rendezvous. Contact the park for further
information and a detailed schedule.
