care to adults. For those who want to remain active and involved, the Booneville
Retirement Center is a place they would want to be. The residents at this center are
afforded the most independent level of care and still able to meet whatever specific needs
they may have. The Center is walking distance to a Wal-Mart Store, a pharmacy, fast food
and a grocery shop.
Booneville also has a Senior Activity Center that
serves as a nutrition site with congregate meals served from Monday to Friday. As part of
their service, the Senior Activity Center also delivers meals to homebound individuals.
Other activities offered are wellness/educational seminars, trips, monthly Diners
Club, crafts, music, daily games and fellowship.

For adults needing specialized care, Booneville is
home to an excellent nursing center. The Oak Manor Nursing Center, recently
opened in its new location, offers 24-hour care to
its residents currently numbering to 98. Each resident is under medical supervision of the
physician of his or her choice who is licensed in the State of Arkansas. The
Center provides much more in the form of emotional support, patience, listening
time and sincerity in their effort to help. |
