To celebrate 25 years of support from Senator Dale Bumpers, the DBSFRC has released a cultivar of Eastern Gammagrass named "Bumpers". This cultivar is the result of 14 years of research at the DBSFRC.

Arkansas Scholars Program Launched

Approximately 165 youth in the 8th grade at Booneville and Magazine Public Schools were introduced to the Arkansas Scholars Program. A program of the Arkansas Business and Education Alliance, the Arkansas Scholars Program encourages students to strive to maintain a high attendance record and good grades, while taking more challenging courses than many would normally take.
