Each year, South Logan County hosts four
National Field Trials, as well as numerous local and regional
field events. These groups include the National German
Shorthaired Pointer Association, the Irish Setter Club of
America, the Southland Pointers and the American Brittany
Club.
Field trial events are held at the Blue
Mountain Wildlife Demonstration Area, one of the finest field
trial grounds in the United States.

The first National event of the year is the
National German Shorthaired Pointer Association Nationals.
The German Shorthaired Club will be back to the Blue Mountain Wildlife
Demonstration Area from February 27 to March 11, 2007. |

The second National event of the year is the
Irish Setter Club of America Nationals.

The third National event of the year is the Southland Pointer
Field Trial Championship held at the Blue Mountain Wildlife
