Magazine Elementary's "Destination
Imagination" Team
Takes 1st In State!The Magazine DI team placed 1st in
their division at the State DI Competition in Bridge Design and, for the
second year in a row, earned the right to compete at
Global Destination Imagination in Knoxville, TN.

Starting in the 2005 - 2006 school year,
students at J. D. Leftwich High School in Magazine are eligible to participate as
candidates in the Arkansas Scholars Program.
In order to graduate as Arkansas
Scholars, students must complete a required curriculum which is advanced
beyond the State mandated graduation requirements.
Students achieving Arkansas Scholar
Status have shown a level of commitment above their fellow classmates, and
are well prepared to enter college, vocational training or the workforce. |
