Starting in the 2005 - 2006 school year, students at Booneville High School are eligible to participate as candidates in the Arkansas Scholars Program.

In order to graduate as Arkansas Scholars, students must complete a required curriculum which is advanced beyond the State mandated graduation requirements.

Students achieving Arkansas Scholar Status have shown a level of commitment above their fellow classmates, and are well prepared to enter college, vocational training or the workforce.

The Class of 2004 was awarded a total of $405,100.00 in scholarships for post-secondary education prior to graduation.

The Booneville High School Drill Team, The Dazzlers, formed at the start of the 2002 School Year, Won the Overall 3A Championship at the 2002 Arkansas Drill & Dance Team State Championships.

The Booneville Senior High Band, made up of students 8th grade and up, has developed into an regionally recognized, award-winning band.

BEARCAT FOOTBALL

If you play AAA Football in the state of Arkansas very long, chances are you will have to play the Booneville Bearcat Football team.  This team doesn't end a season without being in a state playoff game.
